Lee & Ashley | An Intimate Wedding at Hidden Hollow Farm in Crawfordsville, Indiana

Some wedding days remind us that the most meaningful moments aren’t always the biggest or most elaborate. Sometimes, they’re found in the quiet glances, the happy tears, the laughter shared between loved ones, and the beautiful promise of choosing one another for a lifetime.

Yesterday, Lee and Ashley began their next chapter together with an intimate wedding at Hidden Hollow Farm in Crawfordsville, Indiana, surrounded by their closest family and friends. It was a day centered on what matters most: love, commitment, faith, and the people who mean the most to them.

Marriage is such a beautiful gift from God. It is more than a wedding day or a promise made in front of loved ones. It is a daily commitment to love, serve, forgive, grow, and walk through life together, trusting God to guide the way.

As Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 reminds us:

“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow.” — Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 (KJV)

What a beautiful picture of marriage: two people choosing to stand beside one another through every season of life.

A Wedding Day Filled With Meaning

There is something incredibly special about an intimate wedding. With a smaller gathering, there is more room to slow down, soak in the moment, and truly be present with the people who have been part of your story.

Lee and Ashley’s wedding was a beautiful reminder that a celebration doesn’t have to be grand in size to be extraordinary in meaning. Having their closest loved ones gathered together made the day feel personal, heartfelt, and full of connection.

At the heart of marriage is a love that continues long after the wedding day ends. It is choosing each other on the easy days and the difficult ones, extending grace when life feels heavy, and remembering that the strongest relationships are built through patience, kindness, and faithfulness.

First Corinthians 13:4–7 describes this kind of love so beautifully — a love that is patient and kind, that perseveres, and that never gives up.

It is the kind of love worth celebrating, preserving, and remembering.

The Beauty of Hidden Hollow Farm

Nestled in Crawfordsville, Indiana, Hidden Hollow Farm provided the setting for Lee and Ashley’s wedding day. A meaningful location, their favorite people, and the beginning of a lifetime together made for a celebration worth remembering.

As a photographer, I’m always drawn to the little in-between moments that tell the bigger story: the way two people look at each other, the smiles that happen without anyone asking, and the moments with family that will only become more precious with time.

I believe photographs are one of the sweetest ways we get to preserve the gifts God gives us in this life. Years from now, these images will be more than photographs. They will be reminders of the people who gathered, the promises that were made, and the love that surrounded Lee and Ashley as they began their marriage.

Those are the moments that deserve to be preserved — not just how everything looked, but how it felt to be there.

The Moments That Matter Most

Long after the wedding flowers have faded and the last celebration has ended, photographs become a way to return to the moments that made the day so meaningful.

They let us remember the people who stood beside us, the emotions we felt, and the excitement of beginning a new season of life together.

Marriage is a journey of growing together, extending grace, and learning to love one another more deeply with each passing year. My hope for every couple is that their wedding photographs become a reminder of where their story began and the beautiful life they continue to build together.

Lee and Ashley, thank you for allowing me to document such a special chapter in your story. It was an honor to capture the beginning of your marriage and the love surrounding you on your wedding day.

My prayer for you both is that God remains at the center of your marriage, that your home is filled with peace and laughter, and that your love continues to grow through every season. May you always find strength in one another, grace in the difficult moments, and joy in the life you build together.

“And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.” — Colossians 3:14 (KJV)

Congratulations, Lee and Ashley! May this be the beginning of a beautiful lifetime of choosing each other, growing together, and walking in the blessings God has for your marriage.
